Essentials: scissors, rubbing alcohol, a marker or pen, your wraps and clubs. Recommended: a cotton glove and hair dryer. Each order includes a Mulligan — a practice wrap to get comfortable with the process before you start on your real wraps.
Wash and dry your hands. Choose your club — one size fits all. Clean the shaft thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and a cloth. Roll the grip back 2–3cm to give yourself a clean starting point for the install.
Lay the club flat on top of the wrap, using the head as a weight. Align the thicker end under the rolled-back grip, mark your desired length on the thinner end, and cut straight across — this edge will be visible so take your time.
Flip the club face-up. Peel back the wrap and align it with the ferrule as straight as possible — press firmly to anchor. Run your finger from bottom to top, pressing the wrap around the shaft centimetre by centimetre. Spin the club as you go. A cotton glove makes this easier and more forgiving.
Pull the wrap lightly so it's taut, flip the club, and repeat the same process on Side 2. Press down firmly to finish. Make sure there are no air bubbles before moving on.
Roll the grip back down and check your work. If any air bubbles remain, use a hair dryer to gently heat the wrap and press them out firmly with your finger.
PRO TIPS
Tip: Use a clean microfibre for the final wipe down, being sure to switch out cloths if they get too dirty.
Tip: Not sure which end to measure from? When in doubt, assume your shaft is wide — measure from the wide end of the wrap and trim the narrow end. Better to have a little extra than cut too short.
Tip: Before flipping to Side 2, make sure the final edge of Side 1 is firmly pressed down with no air bubbles. Rushing this step is the most common mistake.
Tip: Once you're done, give the wrap a final wipe with a clean microfibre cloth and rubbing alcohol to remove any oily residue from your hands — keeps the finish looking sharp.
Tip: Got a bubble or crease? No stress — it happens. Hit it with a hair dryer for a few seconds to soften the material, then press firmly with your finger. The wrap is forgiving and most imperfections can be worked out with a little heat and patience.
